Mystique is my new line of magic ball/cake yarn made from 100% mercerised cotton, composed of 3 or 4 cotton threads. This kind of yarn is perfect for about everything you’ve ever dreamed of. Do you want to make a dreamcatcher? Or a shawl? Mystique will make you stand out from the crowd.
This brand’s yarn is available in many wonderful colour combinations and is available in two variants – 300 g (for 3-threads/ply) and 400 g (for 4-threads/ply) cake, with the approximate length of 800 m.

WHY USE A MERCERISED YARN?

A mercerised yarn has a richer and fuller colours and it keeps it shape much better. The mercerisation method brings the yarn on a totally different level. That means that crocheted pieces looks – thanks to a subtle glitter – more luxurious, they better deal with moisture, the yarn is more airy, therefore in the summer it’s more suitable than classic cotton. It’s also softer and more pleasant to touch. Although more pricey than a common cotton, due to its wonderful features mercerised yarn keeps the crocheted pieces in good shape for years.
